A Two-Way Rush

Soldier Boy, Homelander's theoretical father and one of the earliest superpowered people, had stats that were fairly close to Homelander's. The only difference was that he couldn't fly and didn't have heat vision.

In exchange, Soldier Boy had a devastating move: he could charge up a nuclear blast that nearly wiped out other people's superpowers.

With someone backing him up, he could even pose a threat to Homelander.

But after his teammates betrayed him, he'd become a test subject, enduring experiments like having his eyeballs drilled with a power drill.

Given the circumstances, it was practically inevitable that Soldier Boy would end up recruited by the Burning Legion.

And the green glow flaring in his eyes as his emotions surged showed that he was beginning to succumb to fel magic and undergo some kind of mutation...

"If you think this is too much trouble, you could tell me where those rats are. I'll go deal with them myself. Maybe I'll even run into some old friends."

When he mentioned old friends, Soldier Boy's expression turned somewhat savage.

He wanted revenge. That was his main goal right now!

He didn't much care if he turned into a demon or something else. Hatred was what had kept him going through the fel transformation!

"Oh, I think you'd better calm down first. Putting aside Homelander, who keeps getting stronger, it seems they've got another troublesome fellow on their side now. But it doesn't matter. Once our altar is complete, we'll summon new allies from the Twisting Void and wipe them all out..."

As he spoke, the Abyssal Lord turned to look at Soldier Boy, the soul fire in his eyes blazing.
