Chapter Summaries

Tao Yu met Lin Chao, Huang Jian, Norsen, and their pioneer group in the rainforest while they searched for the xenomorph nest. He offered to buy the nest’s coordinates or team up on terms that gave him the Queen and most of the spoils, leaving the group stunned by the realization that he and Cao Shaolin had defeated the xenomorphs alone.

• Tao Yu heard a bell and went to investigate, leaving Little Black to guard the camp and roast meat.
• Lin Chao recognized Tao Yu and warned his group to lower their guns after sensing that they were in danger.
• Huang Jian and Norsen identified Tao Yu as a capable pioneer and asked to join his group while searching for the nest Winuo had mentioned.
• Tao Yu led the pioneers to his camp, where they saw Little Black by the fire and xenomorph tails roasting nearby.

• Tao Yu traded his gathered goods to Huang Jian and Norsen’s group for a locator to a nearby Alien Queen’s nest, and the pioneers departed without teaming up with him.

• The Alien Queen led Tao Yu, Huang Jian, and the others through the rainforest to a parachutist caught in a tree, while Bai Ya struggled to keep pace with the group.
• Tao Yu had Little Black free the parachutist, Captain Ahn Ji-jeol, and questioned him about how he had arrived in the rainforest.
