Murphy happily equipped his new weapon, the Soul-Stealing Edge, an artifact, but out of caution, he peered into the chest again and discovered there really was something else hidden inside!
It was a silver-gray data storage device that seemed to require decryption.
Murphy held it in his hand, wondering how he was going to take it back to the material world, then searched the chest from top to bottom. He didn't find anything else.
It seemed the Creator had left him only these two things in the Underworld.
That was a far cry from "a great deal" of treasure, but considering he'd received a genuine "growth-type artifact," Murphy didn't feel right complaining.
