In the important facilities warehouse of Dock Three, Lord Ma was still badly shaken.
Though it was called a warehouse, the place was more like a mechanical laboratory for testing, designing, and assembling the various vital systems of the solar ships. At that moment, Old Ma stood in the workshop where the main body of a solar engine was stored, his hands and feet cold.
The enormous engine that powered the solar ship stood before them, nearly thirty meters tall and an absolute behemoth. It was stored as a single unit inside a cylindrical metal container for temporary safekeeping. Its power supply was connected to the dock's systems, keeping the solar engine in a special maintenance mode. But now, one corner of the container's outer shell had been removed.
The dangerous energy sparks were leaking from that spot, their arcs leaping in dazzling, brilliant patterns that seemed to outline an invisible pressure.
Clearly, Lord Ma had triggered some kind of dangerous defense mechanism when he took apart the storage container.
Several power-armored knights were currently following Uncle Tea's commands, chanting as they pushed the removed casing back into place. Nearby, two more power-armored knights had picked up Creator-grade pneumatic wrenches and were tightening the enormous, bizarre mechanical bolts again.
After the protective outer casing was reinstalled, the rapidly ticking countdown displayed in front of the engine finally stopped at two minutes and sixteen seconds.
Dismantling a Creator-grade device like this required a round of identity verification.
Likewise, once it had been activated, stopping it midway certainly wasn't as simple as putting the casing back on. The countdown had stopped because Murphy had just used Lady Rose's data network to take control of the base systems and complete the remote authorization. It wasn't really the power-armored knights tightening the bolts that
