The Dawnwatch: Captain Cape's Autobiography, Serialized-Bonus Chapter for 910 Monthly Tickets
While players continued uncovering the hidden secrets of Glamour Island, another airship was speeding through the emerald forests of the Antani region as fast as it could. Once it passed through, it would reach the open sea. Given this "specially designed airship's" emphasis on speed, it would take only another half day to reach the waters near Glamour Island.
Even from the outside, it was clear that this airship racing through the clouds was no ordinary craft. It retained the classic halfling airship design, but its streamlined hull and four swiveling propeller engines added to either side had been optimized for speed. Most extravagantly, large quantities of psionic alloy had been used in its construction, making it a "psionic vehicle" in its own right.
When necessary, the airship could enter "silent ghost" mode by casting a large-scale invisibility spell, activating a permanent silence barrier, and creating fog. Three main cannons mounted beneath the hull also gave it a degree of ground-attack capability.
A bomb bay had been installed at the rear of the hull, modeled after the Transians' war airships. That meant the owner could unleash a thorough barrage on the ground below whenever necessary.
And that was only what you could see on the outside!
The inside of the airship was even more luxurious. Its control system used the fifth-generation calculating orb, developed just last month in Chardo Port, as its core. Thanks to the ingenious ideas of Master Minx and Old Flywheel, this new generation of calculating orbs had gained an "autopilot" function, allowing for a certain degree of "unmanned flight."
The airship also had a fully equipped armory, training room, and infirmary. Three priests and doctors, hired at great expense, were on permanent standby aboard the ship, and a halfling chef was always ready to prepare cuisines
