Murphy's consciousness returned to his body, and he was still in a state of shock.
His shock didn't come from the Creator's supposed motives, as Vam had guessed. After all, Murphy had often wondered what it would be like to meet the Creator, and none of the ideas Old Vam had mentioned were hard to imagine. It was mainly that hearing those words come from Vam's mouth felt so strange.
It was like watching a cleaver-wielding king suddenly stop chopping people up, take up philosophy, and start discussing the dialectics of nihilism and the value of existence with you.
Brr. Just imagining it was strange and hard to accept.
But then again, Old Vam's speculation was so reasonable that Murphy couldn't help wondering: Could Vam really be a hidden genius?

Murphy figured it was best to leave them to sort it out among themselves. After all, as a Creator-in-training, he had plenty to keep him busy.
So he pretended he wasn't there and strolled away from the gathering place of the Holy Light Church's musclebound bros. He had meant to find Lord Paine and discuss some details of the Gray Desert expedition, but the
