Murphy and the enhanced Astra Militarum warriors were preparing to head to the Shattered Realm to receive their specialized gear when they ran into the vanguard of the Sanguine Host, who had been summoned to the Life Greenhouse for biological enhancement. They had just withdrawn from the battlefield on the Holy Spirit Plains, and the vampires of every clan still carried a fierce fighting spirit.
