Twelve little players couldn't wait to get outside and test their new powers as soon as the Embrace ritual ended.
Though their "knockoff vampire" talent had been weakened, they had entered the Black Iron tier and gained 18 attribute points. Now they'd also been granted the 40 base attributes of extraordinary beings, making them even stronger than vampires with ordinary Black Iron templates.
They could easily bully monsters with ordinary templates now.
This was especially true of Sister Pomegranate, who had martial arts to back her up. After excitedly demonstrating some extreme kiting in the sewers and tearing an elite ghoul apart with her bare hands, no one questioned her strength anymore.
However, Sister Pomegranate's class change had hit a slight snag.
The Blood Eagle Clan wasn't known for producing top-notch assassins. In that regard, the Thorn Clan were the real experts.
Though she'd received a Blood Eagle combat manual upon becoming a Blood Eagle Nightwalker, Lady Adele had reminded her that the Thorn Clan's Midnight Assassination Art was the finest of its kind. Sister Pomegranate would have to work on raising her reputation with the Thorn Clan so she could trade with Count Andre of White Mountain for a skill manual on the art.
After seeing how Madam Shani had slaughtered the Tower of Rings' psychics, Sister Pomegranate had become very interested in techniques like "assassination boxing." She'd also heard that this world had ancient martial monk traditions, and planned to develop in that direction someday.
The other little players hadn't run into similar problems with their class changes. The Blood Eagle Clan's Midnight Hunters and Grave Wardens were renowned among the Seven Clans, while Blood Torturers ranked in the middle among psychic classes.
Seeing so many "racial benefits" handed out, some of the players watching had started thinking
