At first, Murphy had thought the ghouls in Scarlet Keep's sewers were just a nuisance waiting to be dealt with. But as the little players' activities uncovered increasingly complicated details, he realized the problem was far more complex than he'd imagined.
Tonight, the exploration led by Da Hui Ren under the guidance of his professor had unexpectedly revealed the truth behind the ghoul disaster, and that left Murphy somewhat frustrated.
He realized he still wasn't perceptive enough.
If he'd uncovered the hidden danger sooner and made up his mind to act, perhaps things wouldn't have come to this.
Well, this might be a flaw in his personality. He needed to start correcting it now!

He stepped into the final section of the upper cavern, Necessary Evil in hand. With a twist of his wrist, he summoned George the dire wolf, whom he had previously sent back to the astral plane.
Reverno was still flying through the underground tunnels, guiding the little players escorting the survivors to safety and warning them of danger. It was Murphy's eyes, allowing the lord to keep track of the whole situation.
For example, he knew Triss had joined the battle, so he had to resolve the matter in front of him before she arrived.
