Mr. Li logged back in after work. As soon as he entered the game, he hurried off to meet up with his friend. Following the directions Raven had given him, he made his way to the Adventurers' Guild camp, where he saw President Natalie escorting his old friend out of a tent.

In the light of dusk, it was easy to see that Ms. Natalie was in a terrible mood. She had the classic look of someone who'd lost an argument and was already steeling herself to win the next one. Honestly, it was hard to imagine the tough, no-nonsense witch hunter looking so aggrieved and stubborn.

But his good friend's gait had returned to the way it had been when he was healthy, and the look on his face showed how pleased he was with the start of his gaming journey.

"Why were you chatting with her?"

Seeing the smile on Raven's face, Old Li relaxed. He stepped forward to greet him and asked,

"What? Still haven't kicked that bad habit of yours—testing people?"

"How can you call it a bad habit? It's basic training for a lawyer and psychological profiler."

The guy with the ID Raven rolled his eyes. Out of habit, he pushed at the bridge of his nose, but there were no glasses there, so he sighed. As he walked with Old Li toward the outer city, he savored the strange feeling of having his legs back and walking normally again. Then he said to Teacher Li,

"I might have an answer for that thing you asked me to look into."

"Huh? Already?"

Old Li was startled. He said,

"Have you figured out what this game is really about?"

"Come on. I'm a lawyer, not a wizard. How could I figure it out that fast?"
