"Bang."
The huge meteorite that had been kicked by the Chosen Monk slowly slid forward through the space shaped by the kinetic-neutralization field.
In theory, all external forces within the field's range would be neutralized. But as Murphy reduced the energy output of the matrix generators, the field's ability to cancel kinetic energy weakened as well.
The meteorite began to descend, as if resting on an invisible slope. Following Murphy's instructions, Turner sprinted forward, leaped into the air, and "kicked" the middle meteorite toward the gnoll formation. Of the three meteorites, it was the closest to a perfect sphere. That meant that as it slowly accelerated, it would keep rolling faster after crashing into the ground again, until it finally ran out of momentum.
"Ha! The meteorites are clearing the way! Everyone! We Transians are invincible now!"
Niu Niu shouted excitedly, drew his flail and shield, and readied himself to charge.
The gnolls who had already entered the engagement zone scattered in panic without even waiting for an order. Clearly, they knew just how "painful" it would be to get hit by a rolling meteorite like that.
Their formation fell apart.
Worse, after seeing the Transian lord casually "neutralize" a meteor spell as if he were a god, the gnolls' ferocious momentum collapsed in an instant, and their morale plummeted.
If even a meteor spell couldn't take these Transians out—
By the Hunting Lord!
"Warriors of Transia! Our blood flows through this land, our victories bring it honor, and our courage protects it! We will fight here to the very end, be it against meteorites or gnolls! Nothing can keep the Transians from victory!"
Murphy roared in a low, commanding voice.
"My warriors, defenders and avengers of Transia, draw your weapons! The enemy is ahead! Charge!"
He swept his thermic
