Ding! Special Mission: The Battle of Fortitude has been triggered!
Mission Details:
A band of vicious gnolls and their fierce kobold servants are attacking the front lines at Fortitude, not far from the Blackflame Pass position.
The cowardly gnolls plan to take advantage of the war's sudden outbreak to destroy the blood flag flying above Fortitude. The thugs of the Splitclaw Clan intend to destroy the symbol of Transian courage and deal a heavy blow to the morale of the Blackflame Pass defenders.
There was no denying it: those bastards had picked the perfect moment.
Construction of Fortitude had only just begun, there weren't many soldiers left behind, and there was also a group of armed workers. The good news was that the construction site had plenty of weapons, ammunition, and food. They should be able to hold out for a long time.
The bad news was that there was no way they could break out through a siege by thousands of gnolls on their own.
So the heroes had to make a choice: would they go reinforce Fortitude?
Mission Objectives:
Reach Fortitude and provide support before the gnoll thugs breach its defenses, then help the defenders repel the gnoll invasion.
Mission Rewards:
Improved favor with all factions and NPCs at the Blackflame Pass position!
Earn one Fortitude Battle Emblem, which can be used to buy special supplies from the quartermaster at the Blackflame Pass position, or fine weapons and armor from the Bloodsworn Clan and the Brass Dwarves.

This mission is one of the daily quests on the Black Calamity battlefield and will appear at random intervals. All players near Blackflame Pass may receive the mission and choose whether or not to complete it.
However, if Fortitude falls, the mission will be permanently deleted.
