Battle Martial Arts Grandmaster
The entire room was dark. A lone chandelier hung from the ceiling, its broken light tubes coated in dust.
Fierce Tiger narrowed his eyes and swiftly scanned the room.
There was no distinction between living room, bedroom, or kitchen. In the cramped, narrow room, there was barely enough space for a bed and a cabinet; everything else had to be piled to one side, or there would be nowhere to put it.
There was not even a bathroom.
Even in the slums, such living conditions were considered low-class.
Across from Fierce Tiger, someone sat slanted against the window. He was the leader of the underground Assassin Group.
The others were gone, and so was the target.
A little cleverness, perhaps. Unfortunately, they did not understand that before absolute strength, such clever tricks would only deepen their suffering.
Fierce Tiger strode forward, seized the other man by the neck, and lifted him up. "Trash. Hand over that brat, or I guarantee all of you will die horribly."
The man glared fiercely at him without speaking.
Fierce Tiger raised a brow, preparing to make him suffer a little.
Suddenly, a bad feeling welled up in his heart.
Fierce Tiger abruptly spun around. The muscles all over his body rippled, and his entire frame became taller and sturdier.
In almost an instant, he had transformed into a burly giant roughly three meters tall!
"Hah!"
Fierce Tiger let out a life-or-death roar and viciously clapped both hands through the air.
A dull boom rang out. Fierce Tiger's body jerked backward, and he staggered back several steps before slamming hard into the wall beside the window.
He had even smashed a crack into the wall.
Fierce Tiger lowered his head and stared at his hands.
"An arrow? Truly a rare sight." Fierce Tiger looked thoughtfully at the arrow clutched tightly in his hands.
He suddenly looked up. In the darkness, a figure stood in the doorway, holding an ancient-looking longbow.
"You're... that poor student?!"
Fierce Tiger recognized the newcomer, and shock surged through him.
He had needed to use his full strength just to block that arrow.
Such archery was truly extraordinary. It was absolutely not a level a high school student should possess.
No, he had to engage in close-quarters combat immediately. Only then would he have a chance to kill him!
With that thought, Fierce Tiger kicked off with both feet and charged forward with a thunderous rush.
Gu Qingshan moved at the same time!
Another arrow!
This arrow targeted his chest and abdomen. In the middle of his high-speed charge, Fierce Tiger had no time to dodge.
He had no choice but to extend both hands again and slam them viciously through the air.
With a sharp smack.
The arrow was slapped aside, but the powerful impact behind it still forced him two steps back.
Yet Fierce Tiger merely grinned unconcernedly.
"The power of that arrow is indeed impressive, but with a frail body like yours, you probably can't draw that bow anymore, can you?"
Fierce Tiger rolled his neck and mocked, "How many more attacks like that can you launch?"
Gu Qingshan paused slightly. "Mm, many times."
As he spoke, he drew the bow.
Rapid Shot!
It was as if streaks of gray lightning had appeared between them, racing from Gu Qingshan toward Fierce Tiger.
Fierce Tiger pressed against the wall and used all his strength to fend them off.
The cramped room gave him no room to dodge.
The tremendous impact of the arrows nearly matched the full-force blow of a Martial Arts Grandmaster. If he ignored them, the arrows would certainly pierce straight through his body.
Fierce Tiger had never imagined that, as a Martial Arts Grandmaster, he would be beaten back by a high school brat.
And this humiliating sight was being transmitted through holographic video to Young Master's side.
"Damn brat, you can't kill me! Once you run out of arrows, your death will come!" Fierce Tiger roared.
Gu Qingshan's hands did not stop. "You won't live to see that moment. Goodbye."
He guided the Spiritual Power within his Dantian and poured it entirely into the arrow.
Screech! Screech! Screech!
The arrow howled through the air, making the air along its path emit a mournful cry of friction.
This arrow directly blasted apart Fierce Tiger's hands and, with a muffled thud, buried itself in his chest.
The wall Fierce Tiger had been leaning against could not withstand the impact. It burst apart with a crash, hurling him spinning out from the twenty-second floor.
The entire wall fell away. Behind Fierce Tiger was nothing but the ceaselessly blowing night wind; there was nothing left for him to rely on.
"Damn it!"
Fierce Tiger desperately tried to regain his balance and steady himself again.
But to his despair, another arrow came whistling toward him.
That savage arrow finally carried Fierce Tiger out of the twenty-second-story building, drawing a parabola through the sky before dropping far away.
Forget a Martial Arts Grandmaster—even a Great Grandmaster would certainly die from a fall from the twenty-second floor.
Only someone who had reached the Martial Venerable Realm, with a body of steel and iron unafraid of immense impacts, could survive.
Gu Qingshan walked to where Fierce Tiger had been standing and picked up the communicator that had fallen to the floor.
"Nie Yun?"
Nie Yun's gloomy voice came from the communicator. "When you killed my family's retainer, did you ever consider what I might prepare for you next?"
Gu Qingshan looked at the image in the communicator and suddenly said, "It looks like you're at the biggest casino in the city. In that case, could you please stay where you are and not move?"
Nie Yun froze. "What do you mean?"
"Wait a moment. I'm coming to kill you right away."
After saying that, Gu Qingshan threw the communicator out from the twenty-second floor.
He glanced at the young man curled up in the corner, then turned to leave.
Seeing this, the young man could not help asking, "I don't have any value left to you. You really aren't going to kill me?"
"You did everything I asked you to do, so you won back your life."
Gu Qingshan finished speaking and continued outside, soon disappearing at the stairwell.
A look of struggle appeared on the young man's face. He let out a long sigh, then scrambled up and rushed outside.
He shouted, "Wait! You can't go throw your life away. Why not escape with me?"
Inside the casino.
Nie Yun stared blankly at the communicator, unable to speak for a long while.
"Young Nie, sorry, but it seems I won." Slicked-back Hair Sunglasses Man said.
Nie Yun abruptly stood up and bolted for the exit.
Before long, a luxurious, streamlined Flying Shuttle rose from the casino and swiftly tore through the air.
The Sunglasses Man watched the Flying Shuttle vanish beyond the window and mocked, "He puts on such a respectable front, yet one sentence scared him into running away."
His expression suddenly turned solemn. He turned around and bowed. "Your Highness, please restrain yourself somewhat during the mission."
The beautiful woman behind him slowly stood up and lowered her gaze to the blazing flames in her hand.
The flames gathered in her palm, forming a silent skull head that exuded a heavy aura of dark deathly stillness.
The beautiful woman gazed at the skull head in her hand for a long while before saying, "Hiding one's identity truly is troublesome."
She clenched her hand, and the flames instantly vanished.
