A streak of heavenly fire plunged down, crashing heavily into the ground and blasting out a massive crater.
A little while later.
A pair of pure-gold chopsticks flew out from beneath the crater and shot off through the air once more.
They pierced through one utterly destroyed world after another, then kept streaking onward until they reached a world where living beings dwelled.
The worlds were endless.
No one knew how long it took, but at last they finally returned to their master.
The golden chopsticks trembled and quietly settled on the table.
They knew their master was in a foul mood. They decided it was best to say nothing and simply lay there in silence.
After a while.
Their master's voice finally rang out.
"Someone dared to kill my servant. How interesting."
Dead silence.
Across the entirety of Ash White Peak, not one of the countless evil ghosts or servants dared to respond.
Their master spoke again. "Someone summon a soul. I want to hear what that Yellow Springs Ghost King had to say."
A servant began forming hand seals and casting a spell.

Suddenly, a long tongue stretched out of the void, curled around his soul, and whisked it away.

Not a single person in the entire world dared to breathe, afraid the sound might draw their master's attention.
