Zhao Qiong stared blankly at the scene before her.
The swordsman had already soared into the clouds and vanished without a trace.
Ruins stretched across the land. As far as the eye could see, there was only wilderness.
But to Zhao Qiong, none of this damage mattered.
Everyone had come back to life.
There was just one small problem—
Though the towering human formation had collapsed, most people were still packed together, unable to get free for the moment.
There were simply too many of them.
The clamor, cries, and shouts erupted all at once.
"Old Li! Old Li! Where are you?"
"Big Brother Zhang, I'm underneath your butt."
"Old Wang, quit shoving me on purpose. Your wife's watching."
"What!"
"Clan leader, rest assured. I've checked the surroundings. There are no threats."
"Mm. I'd feel safer if you moved your foot out of my nostril."
"Sorry, sorry!"
"Who's farting? Have some manners!"
The crowd bustled and bickered, and amidst the ruins, a different kind of life began to stir.
Fortunately, though most of these Human Race folk who had lived deep underground weren't especially strong, they did have some measure of ability. The human tower was collapsing rapidly, too; otherwise, those trapped at the bottom would have been crushed to death.
Zhao Qiong stood rooted to the spot, watching without moving.
She racked her brain, trying to think of anyone in the underground caverns who could bring the dead back to life—and revive an entire city at that.
Even now, she still couldn't believe what she had seen with her own eyes.
It was something only a god could do.

Two muffled thuds suddenly came from the bones arranged beneath Zhao Qiong's feet.
In the blink of an eye, a dignified man with ten long
