At the end of the Grave River, a grotesque, illusory shadow rushed closer like a bank of fog.
The corpse of the evil ghost drifted slowly toward it with the current.
The monsters stood on the corpse, split into two groups. One surrounded Gu Qingshan; the other, numbering only seven or eight, stood warily off to the side.
One of the monsters beside Gu Qingshan asked cautiously, "Priest, do you think we should hide?"

The monster shook its head. "The inheritance site I infiltrated had only one kind of apocalypse, so I've never seen this one."
It turned and bellowed, "Which of you released this apocalyptic illusion when you escaped?"
The monsters all shook their heads, insisting it wasn't them.
Even the seven or eight monsters on the other side looked bewildered.
