Ghost Temple.
Deep within the silent temple, three statues stood in a row, motionless.
They were statues of the three Ghost Masters.
They stood there as if guarding something, or perhaps waiting for someone.
Suddenly, one statue spoke. "Half an hour has passed, and there's still no word from Soul Extinguishing Mountain. We may well have failed."
Another statue said, "Our Soul Extinguishing Mountain formation hasn't had a problem in five hundred years. It seems that assassin has deep roots."
The last statue said, "Why don't we act ourselves and deal with that—"
Its voice abruptly cut off.
A melodious chime rang out in the void, interrupting the three Ghost Masters' conversation.
Ding-dong—ding-dong—ding-dong—ding-dong—ding-dong—ding-dong—
Six chimes echoed back and forth through the depths of the dark temple.
The Ghost Temple suddenly vanished, and a new world appeared in its place.
There was no sun in the sky, but a hazy white light radiated from a towering statue, illuminating the entire world.
Around the three Ghost Masters stretched emerald-green grass, countless fragrant flowers, clear fountains, and rows upon rows of ivory-white spires.
A four-winged angel descended from the sky and landed before the three Ghost Masters.
The Four-Winged Angel bowed slightly. "Greetings, Fate Obstacle, Giant Body, and Karma Fire, the Three Ghost Masters. I have come on the Holy Son's orders to deliver a message."
The three Ghost Masters returned the bow in unison. "Please, go ahead."
The Four-Winged Angel said, "The Holy Son asked me to tell you that the Title Assassin's sword has been identified. It is the Earth Sword, one of the Heaven and Earth Twin Swords."
