A swirl of starlight plunged into the female corpse on the ground.
The corpse twitched.
The God of Prophecy, God of Poison, and God of Darkness spoke together. "Goddess of Fate, Lachesis, we welcome you to the mortal world."
With her eyes closed, the corpse let out a cackling laugh.
In an extremely faint voice, she said, "This tiny bit of stellar power isn't enough for me to descend completely. I need more power!"
The God of Poison and God of Darkness exchanged a glance. They acted at the same time, capturing two clusters of starlight from the void and sending them into the corpse's brow.
"Mm... Such pitiful, meager power. But it'll just barely suffice for my descent."
The corpse opened her eyes and sat up.
Her figure began to change, growing taller and more voluptuous. Her features grew more beautiful, and her head of green hair turned completely black.
"Tell me the latest situation," the woman said coldly.
The God of Prophecy recounted everything that had happened recently.
Space was sealed, making flight impossible.
The food chain had been severed, and fewer and fewer living creatures remained.
Most importantly—
"You're saying my younger sister doesn't recognize you at all?" the woman asked.
"Yes. She seems to have forgotten everything. We've forgotten what happened last night, too, but she seems to have forgotten even more. She's even forgotten the Myriad Gods Temple," the God of Prophecy said.
"Honored Lachesis, what should we do now?" the God of Poison asked.
The woman didn't answer. Instead, she gently reached out and pressed her hand against the void.
She chanted, "Law of Fate above! In the names of my sister and me, I ask that you divide the power of my elder sister, Clotho, between the two of us."
The void fell
