On the cold, shadowy stone steps, Mu opened his eyes.
His gaze fell on Reneedol, and for a long while, he forgot to look away.
Reneedol had some dust on her face, but it did nothing to mar her appearance.
She was still peerlessly beautiful, the brightest jewel in all the worlds, the mistress of every star.
Sensing Mu's gaze, Reneedol nervously surveyed their surroundings and asked in a low voice, "Did you find something?"
Mu closed his eyes, then opened them again.
"Nothing."
As he spoke, he turned around and looked around.
They were on a spiral staircase that climbed upward, with a door at the top.
The fairies' footprints continued up the steps, guiding them onward.
Below the staircase, countless objects were piling up, drawing closer to the four of them.
They had no choice but to run up the steps toward the door.
Gu Qingshan was at the back of the group. From time to time, he pulled one or two things out of the mountain of objects to inspect, then tossed them back down.
Mu naturally understood what Gu Qingshan was doing.
"Rod, have you found anything useful?" he shouted as he raced upward.

Without hesitation, he stopped, turned back, and raced downward. He grabbed the corpse and hauled it up.
It was a tiger's corpse. Even in death, it still gave off a fearsome, murderous aura.
Gu Qingshan placed a hand on the tiger's head and used Death Whisper. "Wake up."
The tiger instantly turned to ash and vanished before his eyes.
