That line of tiny, firefly-like text remained suspended in the depths of the water, displayed before the orange cat.
The orange cat thought for a moment, raised its tail, and let out a rumbling purr.
King of the Myriad Gods?
It thought that sounded a little boring. It scratched its whiskers with a paw and squinted as it looked around.
--That hidden passage entrance was still down in the depths.

The secret passage was far too long. Now that it had already made the trip, it might as well use Mist World Descent later.
The orange cat didn't dive back down. It simply floated in the water and rested for a while.
