"Rod!"
Chi Hu called out, interrupting Gu Qingshan's thoughts.
"Huh?" Gu Qingshan looked at her, his expression questioning.
Chi Hu led him aside and spoke in a low voice:
"Rod, there's something I need to ask you."
"What is it?" Gu Qingshan asked.
"I'd originally planned to wait until you were done with everything before telling you properly, but I'm afraid there isn't time now," Chi Hu said nervously.
"Go ahead. I'm listening," Gu Qingshan said.
Chi Hu drew out the Dark Blazing Flames Scythe and said, "Actually, this weapon is where the God of Death's authority resides, isn't it?"
Gu Qingshan nodded. "Yes. It and the Book of Fate are the weapons of the God of Death and the Radiance Lord, respectively. They represent the authority of two different laws."
Chi Hu handed the long-handled scythe back to Gu Qingshan. "I'd planned to use it to complete the final step of my Star Law, but I can feel that it won't cooperate with me. Perhaps only the God of Death can wield it to its fullest. I'm giving it back to you now."
Gu Qingshan looked at the long-handled scythe, then at Chi Hu, who seemed dejected.
I've never really liked using scythes as weapons.
He took the scythe and carefully sensed its power.
Just as Chi Hu had said, using it to form the Star Law and summon Death Beasts would certainly make it incredibly powerful.
But this divine weapon belonged exclusively to the God of Death. No one else could use it.
There was one exception:
If someone wielded the Law of Death more powerfully than the God of Death, then this weapon would obey that person as well, unleashing its full power.
Gu Qingshan pondered for a moment, then said, "Chi Hu, release all your power
