Knock, knock, knock!
"Is anyone there?"
"Is anybody there?"
There was no answer.
Gu Qingshan stepped back a few paces and studied the monastery carefully.
In the torrential rain, the entire monastery was shrouded in a hazy Water Mist, making it impossible to see inside.
Lola examined the monastery's iron gate and said, "There are multiple layers of seals on this gate. We can't get in."
Gu Qingshan looked at the heavy iron gate too. "The seal is very powerful, like some kind of special barrier. My divine sense can't penetrate it. It looks like we'll have to go inside before we can find out what's happening."

Gu Qingshan fell silent for a moment.
The knights hadn't appeared during his earlier fight with the monster, and the monastery hadn't made a sound.
Had they been unable to help despite wanting to, or were they all in cahoots?
He was about to find out.
Gu Qingshan thought for a moment, then pressed the Knight Captain's Nameplate against the iron gate.
The Nameplate gave off a soft, holy glow, illuminating the entire gate.
Only then could they see the countless sacred runes carved into its surface.
Perhaps because they were so old, the runes had all developed black rust. As the rain washed over them, the rust seemed to keep spreading, giving them an indescribably eerie appearance.
Boom!
The iron gate suddenly thundered, making Lola jump.
"Gu Qingshan, what happened?" she asked in a hushed voice.
"Don't
