Ape-man Civilization World.
Yu stood among the many ape-men, her face clouded with lingering worry.
"God... drew that creature away for the safety of our world."
Yu spoke softly.
Her voice suddenly rose, turning into a furious roar:
"Absurd! Why are we all so weak?"
The ape-men rarely saw her lose her temper, and they were all startled and afraid.
"Yu..."
A voice rang out.
Yu whipped around and saw the worried look on her father's face.
She immediately calmed down and said softly, "Father, I'm fine. I just feel wronged."
"God is far too powerful for us to match. Why torment yourself like this?" the Old Clan Leader advised.
Yu shook her head. "No. If God loses, we'll all be wiped out."
Suddenly anxious, she flashed away from the Ape-man Camp.
She crossed the vast grasslands and climbed a precipitous mountain. At its summit, Yu stood wreathed in the aura of Eternal Destruction.
She knelt toward the heavens and murmured, "I am Yu, the envoy of Eternal Destruction. My God is battling an evil fiend, but I am powerless to join the fight. What should I do? Please give me some guidance."
Kneeling on the ground, she cupped her hands together, closed her eyes, and waited devoutly.
One breath.
Two breaths.
Three Breaths.
A golden droplet drifted gently down from the void and touched the center of her brow.
The will of Chaos pierced the limits of time and space and communicated with her directly.
Yu opened her eyes and rose to her feet.
"So that's how it is. Our civilization must become the strongest before we can help God defeat the enemy."
She looked out across the vast land, at the forests, plains, streams, and rivers.
