Shh, shh, shh...
Su Xue'er walked slowly through the campus.
At one point,
she suddenly stopped and gazed toward the mountains behind the campus.
It seemed she had sensed something—
A trace of disdain flashed through her beautiful eyes.
"You think you can take me on?"
she murmured, lifting one hand and making a gesture.
At once,
the pair of steel hands floating behind her disappeared.
In the blink of an eye,
one steel hand appeared again, opening up before her.
A sharp shard lay in its palm.
Su Xue'er studied it for a few breaths, then murmured, "This is a Flying Sword shard. Could his sword have broken?"
A voice as weighty as a mountain suddenly rang out from the shard. "Su Xue'er, I'm Earth Sword. I'm completely shattered now, and my pieces are scattered all over the campus."
Su Xue'er asked in surprise, "Why are you the one here?"
She reached out and grasped another Phantom Sword from thin air.
The instant the long sword appeared, it turned into a faint shimmer and scattered through the air, vanishing completely.
It was the phantom of the sword that had brought her here—
the World-Defining Divine Sword's phantom.
By rights, this phantom should have taken her to where the World-Defining Divine Sword was. But after she arrived, the shard she found was Earth Sword's.
Why was that? Su Xue'er gazed at the shard in her hand, a puzzled look on her face.
The shard seemed to know what she was thinking. "Are you wondering why the phantom of the World-Defining Divine Sword brought you here, but you ended up finding one of my shards?"
Su Xue'er said, "Yes."
"How about this? If you guess the right answer, I'll take you to see Gu Qing Shan right away," Earth Sword said
