She looked the girl over. The cat-eared girl, dressed in a short black skirt and stockings, held two bottles of liquor and gazed at her expectantly.
"Stop working. Nothing terrible will happen if you take a break. Come have a couple of drinks with me," Xiao Miao pleaded.
"Why do you want to drink again, Xiao Miao? Honestly, you should go find Anna instead. Why do you come to me every time?" Su Xue'er said crossly.
"Hmph, Gu Qingshan's a real slave driver. He's been pushing me, Barry, and your teacher to set up a Super-Dimensional World field in the Blood Sea. I'm exhausted," Xiao Miao grumbled.
Su Xue'er sighed.
She took a bottle from Xiao Miao's arms, uncorked it, and said, "All right, I'll drink with you. Don't blame him."
"That's more like it!" Xiao Miao's eyes lit up. She opened her own bottle, and they gently clinked them together.
The two of them drank a few mouthfuls.
