While Xie Daoling held Gu Qingshan's hand, I typed the words "The End" with lightning speed.
Three years. Three whole years!
I haven't had a day off in three years. Hahahahaha! (maniacal laughter)...
For a story, when its most compelling conflict disappears, it's time for the story to end.
Every extra word would be pointless.
Besides, this story had already reached six million words, far beyond what I'd expected at the start.
So I'll bring it to a close here.
But Gu Qingshan's story seemed to be only just beginning—
Where would he go from here? Could all the things that had happened really be dismissed as mere illusion? So many thrilling battles, so many dazzling encounters and meetings...
Xie Daoling had defeated the Fiend Lord through her mastery of the arts. Surely she'd help Gu Qingshan next, bringing everything illusory and real together.
So there'll be bonus chapters.
They might be quite fun.
I still owe chapters to my generous supporters, so I'll take the opportunity to write a little more and wrap things up, and try not to leave any debts unpaid.
