"By the way, you can have this Bounty Handbook, too. It lists all the bounty targets."
The clerk had no idea that Hao Shuai was still brooding over his bounty. He pulled out a thick handbook and handed it to him.
"It's so thick. This must cover nearly every jōnin in the shinobi world!"
Looking at the hefty handbook in his hands, Hao Shuai murmured to himself.
As far as he knew, the bounty targets at the underground exchange weren't all posted by wealthy patrons. Many were secretly put up by the great nations and shinobi themselves, with the simple aim of weakening their rivals.
So most people listed in the Bounty Handbook were at least jōnin-level.
Hao Shuai opened to the first page. The familiar face of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, greeted him, with a bounty of 250 million ryo.
"I had no idea the Third Hokage was worth 250 million! That's as much as seven Asumas." Hao Shuai was surprised by the Third Hokage's bounty. He couldn't help thinking, Maybe I should go back to Konoha, take him out, and make a little spending money~~
Of course~~
Hao Shuai was only thinking about it. He didn't want the people of Konoha hunting him down, and he had no plans to leave the village.
As for the Third Hokage being on the first page of the bounty list, that didn't surprise him.
After all, the Third Hokage was currently the strongest shinobi in the public eye. He might have grown old and lost some of his strength, but as the leader of Konoha, the foremost of the Five Great Ninja Villages, he still deserved a prominent spot.
The second page of the Bounty Handbook listed Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage of Iwagakure. The third listed A, the Fourth Raikage
