With the Baiyang Diagram in hand, Hao Shuai began eyeing True Person Bai Yang's legacy treasures.
Once he'd made up his mind, Hao Shuai followed his knowledge of the plot and took two steps forward. Then he swept his hand out, sending a moss-covered stone block flying aside. A flight of steps leading underground appeared before them.
He led the little girl inside. After descending more than a dozen yards along the sloping steps, they came upon a cavern filled with stalactites.
The cavern was about a hundred square yards. Aside from a few of the largest stalactites, the rest had been broken and chopped away by human hands. What had once been a fine cave had been left in a complete mess.
On the eastern side of the cavern was a spring. Its trickling water ran down the rock wall and formed a small pool of about a dozen square yards before disappearing into the ground.
Hao Shuai walked to the edge of the pool. A sweep of Divine Thought made him smile faintly.
"This restriction is quite ingenious."
He pointed a finger. The pool instantly began to boil, and amid streaks of spiritual light, a jade box two feet long, one foot wide, and eight inches tall gradually formed out of the flowing water.
With a beckoning gesture, the jade box flew into his palm.
When True Person Bai Yang ascended, he had only been at the Heavenly Immortal realm. The restriction he'd placed on the jade box was practically nothing to Hao Shuai.
He removed the restriction and opened the box. Inside lay a white jade token, a red one, eighteen silver needles three inches long and brimming with spiritual light, and two milky-white jade boxes.
