He fled home and died soon afterward. He was later buried seven hundred li northwest of Bai Yang Mountain. Like the others, he had gained spiritual awareness after more than a thousand years and risen from the dead. One of the Four Ancient Fiends, he had made a fearsome name for himself.
Qiong Qi's Nether Palace was even more splendid than the Wuhua Ancient Tomb, but its location was poor because Yellow Emperor Xuan Yuan had suppressed it there. Day and night, it was battered by water, fire, wind, and thunder formed from the power of the earth's veins.
