Knocking Zen Master Tianmeng for a Favor, and Preparing to Steal the Guang Cheng Golden Ship
Tianmeng?
How could it be him?!
Hao Shuai was startled when he heard the newcomer introduce himself.
Zen Master Tianmeng was a peer of Longmei before his ascension. He was said to be the reincarnation of the Eastern Han Divine Monk and was as renowned as Monk White Brow. His cultivation had long since reached perfection, and he had attained the peak of the Heavenly Immortal realm. Yet, in order to guide his junior fellow disciple Xieshan, he had delayed crossing the Golden Immortal Tribulation and ascending.
Though Hao Shuai wasn't afraid of such a formidable figure suddenly appearing before him, he put aside his playful mood and replied cautiously, "So you're Zen Master Tianmeng. May I ask what brings you here?"
"I have come for no other reason than to ask you to spare Divine Nun Fentuo," Tianmeng said, pointing to the nun lying unconscious at his feet.
"You wish to protect her?" Hao Shuai asked in surprise. "That's all?"
"Yes." Zen Master Tianmeng nodded. "I know my request is rather abrupt, so I'm willing to decide on her behalf to compensate you with this Dharma King Kong Wheel."
As he spoke, Zen Master Tianmeng took out the Dharma King Kong Wheel that Fentuo had used moments earlier and handed it to Hao Shuai.
Looking at the Dharma King Kong Wheel in his hand, Hao Shuai was momentarily dumbfounded.
He had assumed Zen Master Tianmeng had come to demand that he hand over the Xuan Yuan treasures, just as Divine Nun Fentuo had. He hadn't expected this.
It seems the stories are true: Zen Master Tianmeng dislikes fighting and is a true enlightened monk, Hao Shuai thought once he recovered.
But what did it matter to him whether Zen Master Tianmeng was an enlightened monk? It wouldn't stop him
