Far away in the depths of the South Sea, amid an endless expanse of waves where sea and sky merged, stood an inconspicuous little island. It covered little ground, only about the size of a small hill. Ancient trees towered overhead, no wild beasts could be seen, and everything was lush and green.
This little island stood alone in the open sea, seemingly uninhabited. Yet, atop a small hill stood a tiny pavilion, whose signboard bore the three characters "Immortal Welcoming Pavilion."
One day, a flash of golden light appeared outside the pavilion, revealing two figures, one large and one small. They were Hao Shuai and Shi Sheng, who had come from the Zhu Xian World after making all the necessary arrangements.
Hao Shuai had brought Shi Sheng here to rescue his mother, Lu Rongbo. As it happened, this was the entrance to Ziyun Palace.
Deep in the South Sea lay an Earthly Palace Immortal Palace with a history spanning thousands of years. Situated 108,000 zhang beneath the sea, it was cut off from the world—a place shrouded in mystery and secrecy.
Though this Ancient Immortal Palace had endured countless ages, its exterior remained breathtakingly beautiful. It shimmered with every color, its halls adorned with pearls and shells, its beams carved and its walls built of jade. It was a veritable paradise on earth, a Blessed Land.
This Earthly Palace Immortal Palace was called "Ziyun Palace." According to legend, it had been built by Golden Mother Tianyi herself, the deity of Metal among the Five Elements in Ancient Times.
Many years later, before ascending, Golden Mother Tianyi foresaw that the world would one day face a great calamity. She therefore stored various rare treasures inside Ziyun Palace, so that its future master could rely on them to avert the disaster.
