Countless pieces scattered across the ground with a light clatter.
"How~~is this~possible?!" Tony, helped to his feet by Pepper, stared at the pieces on the ground in shock, his face full of disbelief.

What had happened today had dealt him a devastating blow.
First, some monster that had come out of nowhere had beaten him to a pulp. Then his prized suit had been smashed apart with a single slap from Hao Shuai.
His suit was made of Titanium Gold Alloy, for crying out loud!
At that moment, Tony's confidence took a serious hit.
They said clever people liked to get hung up on things. Apparently, Tony was no exception.
Tony hadn't stopped to consider that no matter how smart he was, he had only just invented the Iron Man suit. He hadn't even been Iron Man for a year. His suit had barely gone through any iterations, and yet the opponent he faced was the Abomination, who had strength beyond measure and was immune to physical attacks. How could he possibly win?
After all, the Abomination was a major villain who could go toe-to-toe with the Hulk, who was known as the strongest Avenger and possessed near-invincible close-combat prowess.
The fact that Tony had lasted this long against the Abomination was thanks to the latter not taking this so-called Iron Man seriously.
With the Abomination's strength, a full-power punch would have left Tony dead or at death's door.
Tony's miserable state had also made Hao Shuai realize something.
In the movies, superheroes like Captain America and Iron Man seemed to go toe-to-toe with anyone. But those were movies, and the directors had arranged things that way for dramatic effect.
Put simply, they had plot armor protecting them, so they seemed to match up evenly against everyone. The
