With Hao Shuai's reminder, the memories buried in Tony's mind gradually resurfaced. He finally recalled a little of what Hao Shuai had said. It seemed Howard really had left him something when he departed Earth all those years ago.
At the time, though, Tony had been so unhappy about Howard leaving that he'd paid no attention to the things and simply put them away.
He thought he'd left them in the storage room!
As soon as the memory came back to him, Tony hurried out of the lab and headed for the long-forgotten storage room.
He pushed open the door, revealing a chaotic scene. Most of the things inside were items he no longer needed, including machines, equipment, and weapon prototypes he'd built in the past.
With mixed feelings, Tony slowly made his way toward the back of the room.
At last, in the farthest corner of the storage room, Tony found the box his father, Howard, had left behind. After all these years, it was covered in a thick layer of dust.
Tony crouched down and slowly brushed the dust from the surface. A name emerged.
"Howard Stark!"
Staring at his father's name, Tony stood frozen for a long while, his feelings in turmoil.
Then he carried the box back to the lab and set it on the table. Tony took a deep breath and slowly opened the box that had been sealed away for so many years.
There wasn't much inside: a roll of blueprints, several notebooks, some documents, and a few reels of old film.
Tony first opened the roll of blueprints on top and discovered that they were the Arc Reactor designs Howard had left behind!
He casually flipped through the notebooks. They were filled with equations and research notes.
Finally, he picked up the film
