Rice Country, Miami.
Miami lay at the southern tip of the Florida Peninsula in Rice Country. Covering 34.3 square kilometers, it was the eleventh-largest city in the country. It had a tropical climate, warm and humid, with beautiful coastal scenery, making it a renowned tourist destination.
The beach here had fine, white sand, and its flat shore and gentle waves made it a rare place where sunshine, waves, and sand came together in perfect harmony.
The sky was blue, the sea clear, and not a cloud marred the horizon. It was a beautiful day—and a perfect one for sunbathing. The beach was already packed with Rice Country locals and visitors from abroad.
Some lounged in beach chairs, soaking up the sun and helping their bodies absorb calcium. Others played volleyball, splashed around, and enjoyed themselves.
People of all three races—yellow, black, and white—were represented on the beach. Though their skin tones differed, they were all dressed in cool swimwear, singing and dancing to the music playing along the shore, their faces bright with happiness.

Always one to balance work and leisure, he was currently stretched out on a beach chair, wearing oversized sunglasses and admiring the bikini-clad women passing by. Every so often, he whistled.
