Golden sunlight streamed through the window into a hospital room.

A radio from the Second Shinobi War era played a baseball game.

"Red Skull, the Space Stone... crash!"

Suddenly, a blond hunk sitting in the hospital bed bolted upright, gasping for breath.

His memories were still of his last battle.

"Didn't I... crash into the ocean?"

Captain America Steve Rogers looked dazed. His gaze slowly came into focus as he took in everything around him.

The room had the familiar decor of the 1940s: white-and-green painted walls, a ceiling fan, and a radio on the bedside table. Everything seemed so familiar.

Something about it all instinctively felt wrong.

"Hm?!"

Steve Rogers felt another pain in his head. He couldn't tell whether he was dreaming or awake, and he felt as if something was wrong with his mind.

The baseball commentary continued on the radio.

Steve Rogers listened absentmindedly for a moment, then quickly realized something was wrong. His expression turned fierce as he stared at the woman. "Where am I, really?"

He suspected that the Red Skull's men had captured him and imprisoned him here, trying to brainwash him into serving Hydra.
