The Sea Emperor's Trident was also known as Poseidon's Trident. It was the divine weapon of Poseidon, one of the Twelve Olympians and ruler of the sea kingdom.
As the god of the sea, Poseidon received his trident from the Cyclopes when they gave Zeus his thunderbolts during the campaign against Clotis. From then on, the sea god and his trident became iconic.
It was said that when Sea God Poseidon swung his trident, he could not only raise towering waves with ease, but also unleash the most destructive storms and tsunamis on Earth, sinking continents and splitting the heavens and earth. He could shatter all things and even trigger great earthquakes. Whoever obtained the trident would gain the power to rule the entire ocean and lift every curse upon the sea.
Of course, the trident was more than just a weapon. It could also split the earth and bring forth fresh springs to irrigate the land and ensure a bountiful harvest. Poseidon had also gifted humanity its first horses.
When Tia Dalma suddenly heard Hao Shuai say he would help break her seal, her expression changed. She asked in surprise, "You know who I am?"
