London was the capital of the Great Eagle Empire and its political, economic, cultural, and financial center. It lay on the plains of southeastern England, straddling the River Thames.
More than two thousand years ago, the Romans established the city. After the sixteenth century, as the Great Eagle Empire rose rapidly, London expanded just as quickly, eventually becoming Europe's largest city and its foremost economic and financial center.
But that was all in the future. London probably wouldn't get the chance.
Because Hao Shuai had arrived~~
When Hao Shuai's Great Emperor entered London Harbour, not a single Great Eagle Empire warship remained at sea to block him. The coastal artillery, however, kept firing without pause.
Unfortunately, against naval guns with several times the range of the coastal batteries and a caliber of 406 millimeters, the batteries could do nothing but wait to be picked off one by one. Each was taken out with a single shot.
As the Great Emperor sailed upstream along the River Thames, shelling every military installation along the way, London became little more than meat on a chopping block, ready for anyone to carve up.
After Hao Shuai took over the naval port and brought the ship alongside the quay, he waved a hand. In an instant, ten thousand Terminators appeared on the docks.
"Move out. Follow the instructions I gave you," Hao Shuai ordered with a grand wave.
"Yes, sir!"
The Terminators saluted, then surged into London. Before long, the entire city was filled with the roar of gunfire and artillery.
Hao Shuai paid it no mind. Instead, he led the women toward the Great Eagle Empire's palace at a leisurely pace, carrying eight brightly colored banners.
