Hao Shuai visited Hoover Dam with Simmons and the Autobots, where Optimus Prime identified Megatron and retrieved the AllSpark. Hao Shuai stored the AllSpark in the Chaos Bead and learned it was an innate treasure, while Optimus Prime entrusted it to him to keep it safe.

• Simmons led Hao Shuai, the Secretary of Defense, and the Autobots into Section 7 and revealed the frozen robot was Megatron, leader of the Decepticons.
• Hao Shuai asked Simmons to take them to the AllSpark, and Optimus Prime activated it, shrinking it to a small cube.
