Both sides stopped fighting at that moment, their eyes gathering on Su Chen and the Third Head, who were battling in front of them.
The two moved so quickly that before anyone could make out one move, they were already exchanging the next.
Of everyone on the scene, only Yan Que could still follow their movements. The rest could only hear the sounds rising and falling around them.
The longer Yan Que watched, the more alarmed he became. A thought flashed through his mind: Could this Black-Clothed Man also be a Practice Force Warrior?
He had just fought the Third Head himself. For that very reason, he knew all too well how terrifying a Practice Force Warrior could be.
The Black-Clothed Man before him had held his own against the Third Head for so long. No wonder Yan Que had started to suspect as much.
The Third Head had the same thought. As he fought Su Chen, his alarm only grew.
Su Chen clearly wasn't using inner force, yet his terrifying iron fists and palms sent waves of pain through the Third Head's body whenever they struck.
If the Third Head hadn't been a Practice Force Warrior, using his inner force to disperse Su Chen's fierce attacks, he would have been unable to defend himself before long.
As they exchanged more blows, the Third Head grew not only more astonished but also more perplexed. He couldn't understand why Su Chen wasn't using inner force.
Then, suddenly, it dawned on him. "Could he not be a Practice Force Warrior?!"
Once the thought had taken hold, it became impossible to suppress. He abruptly looked at Su Chen, a flash of shock in his eyes.
He wasn't a Practice Force Warrior, so he couldn't use inner force—and yet he was holding his own against the Third Head. What the hell was this monster?
"No, that's impossible!"
Perhaps unable to accept it, or simply unwilling to believe it, the Third Head's feelings poured into his moves.
Su Chen, fighting him, clearly felt his opponent's moves suddenly grow far more ferocious.
"What's this?"
Suddenly, Su Chen's movements faltered, and a strange look crossed his face.
At the instant he had just touched the Third Head, he felt an unusual force surge into his body.
It was only a trace, but it was immensely destructive, roaming through him and wreaking havoc on his organs without restraint.
"Could this be inner force?"
Feeling the pain radiate through his body, Su Chen's gaze darkened. Experiencing firsthand how terrifying inner force was made him uneasy.
If this powerful force had been any stronger, it might have destroyed all his internal organs.
"So you really aren't a Practice Force Warrior!"
The Third Head's voice rang out just then.
Hearing it, Su Chen paused, slightly stunned. When had he ever said he was a Practice Force Warrior?
The Third Head paid no heed to Su Chen's surprise. His lips curled back, revealing yellowed teeth, and he sneered:
"You don't even have inner force. What gave you the guts to challenge me? Die!"
Now that he was sure Su Chen wasn't a Practice Force Warrior, the Third Head's aura surged, and his attacks grew even more savage.
Su Chen stared blankly at the Third Head as he flew into a rage. Had he offended the man by not having inner force?
The thought flashed and vanished. Su Chen tried to avoid engaging with him, but the Third Head kept pressing relentlessly, giving him no quarter.
"You won't get away!"
Just then, a strange smile appeared on the Third Head's face.
In the next moment, a terrifying force gripped Su Chen's arm, and his body pitched forward.
The Third Head seized the chance to clamp down on Su Chen's arm, a cruel smile spreading across his face.
As that smile appeared, he raised his other arm, drew back his elbow, and thrust his palm forward, striking at Su Chen.
Just as he was about to savor his victory, a mocking smile appeared on Su Chen's face.
Rrrip!
Suddenly, a sharp tearing sound rang out, reaching the Third Head's ears.
He froze. What was that sound?
But a moment later, an inexplicable sense of danger surged through him, as if a ferocious beast had locked onto him.
Glancing sideways, he suddenly saw an arm emerge from Su Chen's sleeve.
"He—he wasn't One-Armed?"
In an instant, the Third Head's expression changed. Panic crept across his face, and his hand abruptly stopped moving.
Su Chen seized the opening. With lightning reflexes, he gripped the saber, drew it, and swung—all in one fluid motion, as swift as a flash of light.
Yet, to Su Chen's surprise, even this strike, delivered in the blink of an eye, was still noticed by his opponent.
The Third Head pulled his hand back as fast as lightning, clenched it, and reached urgently for the saber's hilt, trying to grab it and block the attack.
Seeing this, Su Chen exhaled a breath of foul air and let out a thunderous shout.
With the combined boosts of Iron Cloth Skill, Ape Arm Skill, and Raging Wave Saber Technique, the clothes around his arm looked ready to burst.
A powerful force surged through his arm, and his speed suddenly doubled.
A cold gleam flashed like a streak of light. Then came a sharp rip, like the sound of a saber cleaving a watermelon.
Propelled by Su Chen's tremendous strength, the broken Steel Saber drove into the Third Head's palm.
Then, with utterly brute force, it plunged straight into the Third Head's body.
Blood first dripped down, drop by drop, then gushed out, splattering all around.
"Argh!"
The Third Head let out a scream as Su Chen kicked him away. Blood poured uncontrollably from his wound, soaking his clothes and the ground in an instant.
"I'll kill you!"
Even after suffering such a serious wound, the Third Head still retained his earlier bearing.
He trudged forward, then burst into astonishing speed and charged at Su Chen.
Su Chen frowned slightly at the sight. He hadn't expected his opponent to be so tenacious.
But he had no intention of fighting him head-on. As the Third Head launched his final desperate counterattack, Su Chen dodged again and again.
"Something's wrong. With that much blood loss, he should've been dead already. How's this guy still so fierce? Is it because of his inner force?"
After exchanging blows with his opponent for a while, Su Chen grew suspicious and looked at the Third Head.
The Third Head's face was pale and his breathing ragged, but he could still fight. His movements had simply grown slower and his attacks weaker.
"Forget it. I'll take pity on you and send you on your way."
Seeing that the man was neither fully alive nor quite dead, Su Chen couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. He simply stepped forward and took his head with one stroke, sending him on his way.
"Third Head!"
"The Third Head is dead!"
"This is bad! Someone killed the Third Head!"
After a brief silence, it was like a stone tossed into a still lake. An uproar soon erupted.
Seeing the Third Head's head roll to the ground, the bandits turned pale and panicked.
"Arrest them all!"
Just then, Yan Que came to his senses and immediately gave the order.
The Fang Family members quickly snapped out of it and surrounded the bandits together.
Faced with the Fang Family's encirclement, the bandits had no strength to resist. One after another, they scattered in panic, then surrendered outright.
Seeing this, Yan Que let out a long breath. Thank goodness, they had made it through without further trouble.
He glanced at the dead Third Head and shook his head, then turned his gaze toward Su Chen.
When he noticed the arm that had "grown" out of Su Chen, Yan Que's expression became rather strange.
That strange look only deepened as Su Chen bent down and rummaged over the Third Head's body.
