When Lucius returned to the Investigation Team, he happened to hear someone say, "You didn't see it—the corpse was a total mess. It was plastered all over the windshield, completely mangled."
His heart clenched as he realized who his colleagues were talking about.
Obviously, that hardheaded fool who had opposed cooperating with the Fallen Angel Church had been silenced.
