In the end, his gaze shifted back and forth several times before he compromised. "Then each of you can stay for a few months. Travel is convenient now anyway. I'll leave several Transcendent Knights with each of you. You should be able to make a round trip in about a week."

Clearly, this was only a short-term compromise.

The Imperial Princes stationed on the New Continent would not need to handle specific affairs themselves. Their role was more to hold the fort.

Only if something truly unexpected happened would they need to take action.

Whether the three brothers agreed or not, they had no choice but to accept Qin's proposal.

Compared to staying on the New Continent long-term, this outcome was clearly acceptable.

With matters here arranged, Qin began preparing to wrap things up.

The Colonial Government could not directly govern more than half of the New Continent. Its territory was already close to that of the homeland.

Although the Transcendent Knights could suppress anything, such unchecked power was clearly wrong.

Not every problem could be solved directly through force.

Nor were Transcendent Knights omnipotent.

Perhaps no one would dare rebel, but there would absolutely be people daring enough to embezzle.

After all, whether Transcendent Knights existed or not, the crime of embezzlement was equally serious. Did anyone really think that adding an ultimate military force would make these people behave?

At its core, people formed the main structure of society. A change in military power could not completely suppress human nature.

Even flaying people and stuffing their skins with straw could not stop human greed, much less a Transcendent Knight
