Knight Mechs had started as roughly assembled shapes made from simple machinery, but they had now become relatively sophisticated works of engineering.

Through constant trial and error, they had ultimately moved toward perfection.

Moreover, the continual discovery of basic Transcendent Materials had steadily enhanced the mechs' strength and mobility.

Jos and the others had arrived at just the right time. The latest experimental Knight Mech model was equipped with steel wings, powered by the newest Transcendent Battery, and had some non-core components replaced. This reduced its weight while providing a degree of antigravity.

Activated by Transcendent Power, it could easily lift the entire mech into the air.

By simply controlling the decorative-looking steel wings, it could achieve the design goal of independent flight.

Without needing Franz and the other spectators to urge it on, the Winged Mech took to the sky amid its colleagues' encouragement.

The Winged Mech climbed high and maneuvered nimbly through the air. Though its speed was worlds apart from that of an airplane, this breakthrough from zero meant the future was promising.

As individual armament, the Winged Mech had already reached a level close to despairing.

What in this world could still stop this thing?

Kruger's face had turned ugly, and sweat continued to drip from him. It was the result of tension and fear.

"Ha ha! Such a powerful knight only needs some long-range attack methods to be perfect."

He was forcing himself to find a reason for comfort, or his confidence would have collapsed.

Perhaps it had heard his words, for the Winged Mech demonstrating overhead suddenly snapped off two steel feathers from the wings on its back.

The two wings merged together, forming a massive bow.

Northland Knights had never been known for archery, but bringing out
