The two chatted for a while without mentioning cooperation, merely exchanging pleasantries.

Ambassador Jack did not even ask about Great Xia Empire secrets. He only asked about some amusing incidents from Jos's school days.

Jos also took the opportunity to casually mention some things from his time studying abroad.

For example, the apartment building for international students that the embassy had funded and purchased back then, or his participation in charity events.

Ambassador Jack was also an old hand at the embassy. He had previously served there as a military attaché.

Thus, the two had common ground. They might even have met back then.

"Charity events? Tell me about them in detail." Ambassador Jack was intrigued. His duties at the time had mainly involved protecting the embassy's security, and his knowledge of the international students' activities had been limited to general matters—who had completed preparatory studies and entered university, and who had failed to adapt and returned home.

With a smile, Jos slowly gave him a general account of what had happened back then.

At that point, no matter how slow Ambassador Jack was, he understood.

The outside world did not know the detailed schedules of royal family members.

But scattered bits of information could be gathered from passing remarks.

Even if he had not dealt with them before, Ambassador Jack would review old files and records after taking office.
