The researchers were deeply frustrated. The alien ruins lay right before them, yet they could not study them thoroughly. It was agonizing.

But that was understandable. For a civilization that had entered the interstellar age, written records left on paper were already exceedingly rare.

In fact, most of the writing discovered so far had been left behind on various ornaments, devices, and even signs.

Perhaps these words contained little important information, but they were still immensely meaningful for deciphering the language.

At the very least, it had now been confirmed that the alien script was closely connected to ancient writing.

Many ancient characters were exactly the same as the alien ones, while the small number of differences were merely subtle alterations, likely changes that had occurred during the course of transmission.

In ancient times, when cultural transmission had been so difficult, the evolution of written language had been entirely normal.

"The current consensus is not to provide it with energy. It would be best to dismantle and study it in stages, doing everything possible to raise our own technological level."

Tru held the conclusions of all the researchers as he reported to Derek. Although everyone was curious about the true nature of the alien civilization, reason told them that they should seize this opportunity to bring Great Xia's technological level to a tremendous leap forward.

"At the very least, we currently have no evidence that the alien civilization possesses Transcendent Power.

So even a small improvement would mean a tenfold or hundredfold increase for us.

When we encounter alien civilizations in the future, we will have the strength to fight them."

Tru and the others recognized Great Xia's advantages and worked hard to expand them.

They had to consider the possibility of enemies.

"Additionally,
