"Of course not."
Red-Brow Saber Venerable held a dark-red saber, his gaze sweeping over Luochen Sword Sovereign and Bedrock Venerable.
"We've fought for so many days. It's time we settled this. The Northern Slope of Golden Radiance Ridge belongs to the Scarlet Firmament Sect. You'll surrender that mine tunnel to the east as well. From now on, we'll each keep to our own territory, so our disciples won't have to keep throwing their lives away."
"What arrogance."
Bedrock Venerable sneered. "You stole our Luochen Sect's property, and now you expect us to cede territory to you?"
"Why cling to land you can't defend?"
Red-Brow Saber Venerable remained indifferent.
The five of them hadn't come in person to listen to the Luochen Sect's grievances. If their opponents backed down today, all the better. If not, they would beat them until they did.
Iron Prison Fist Venerable said, "That fellow of yours hasn't returned in years. The two of you alone can't support such a vast estate."
"You won't know whether we can until you try."
Luochen Sword Sovereign looked toward the distant barren mountains.
"Let's move elsewhere. If we destroy the mine tunnel, won't your journey have been wasted?"
Red-Brow Saber Venerable narrowed his eyes.
"It seems you're quite confident in the results of your seclusion."
Luochen Sword Sovereign didn't answer. He flew toward the barren mountains alongside Bedrock Venerable.
"Let's go!"
Iron Prison Fist Venerable stepped forward, and the other four followed close behind.
The seven figures vanished into the distance in an instant. Only then did everyone in the mining district feel the pressure on their chests ease. While the seven Venerables stood there, their invisible pressure had made it hard to breathe, even without them lifting a finger.
"Everyone, retreat inside the formation!"
Pei Duo barked the order.
