Ch. 547Spread

Lu Cang defeated and killed Aertemi, then returned to his original body and considered how to make amends to the family of the newborn body he had left behind. Kumiloni learned that Aertemi was dead and Lu Cang had survived, while the consequences of a god’s death began to unfold.

  • Lu Cang rejected Aertemi’s objections to his victory and used God-tier Rebirth Reincarnation to restore his previous body.
  • Lu Cang resolved to check whether the newborn’s family needed money and to protect them while he was alive.
  • Lu Cang released Huang Minzhi, who explained that Yog had arranged for him to guide Lu Cang toward the truth about his origins.
  • Kumiloni tried to return to Lu Cang when she sensed the battle, but rotting flesh held her back and urged her to trust him.
  • The rotting flesh announced that Aertemi was dead, and Kumiloni learned that Lu Cang had survived and killed a god.

Ch. 548Your Origins

Lu Cang restored Xiu Mi, told her he had killed Aertemi, and returned the missing people to her. Huang Minzhi explained Yog’s search for unknown knowledge, then led Lu Cang to an airport in space and said it held the answer to where he came from.

  • Lu Cang rebuilt Xiu Mi’s body and burned away her damaged skin so she could recover.
  • Lu Cang told Xiu Mi that Airosa was safe, that he had killed Aertemi, and that he had rescued Xisha and the others.
  • Lu Cang sent the four missing people to Xiu Mi and left her in the World of Self.
  • Back in the Chamber of Answers, Huang Minzhi explained that Yog sought knowledge with no connections to anything already known.
  • Huang Minzhi led Lu Cang through the stars to a spaceborne airport and said it could reveal where Lu Cang came from.

Ch. 549Lu Cang

Huang Minzhi revealed that the Foul Source Nest had brought Lu Cang to the Secret Sea and gathered the Tree of Wisdom’s branches and leaves inside him to contaminate the world’s spirituality. Lu Cang understood the source of his immense spirituality but still wanted to know why he had been chosen.

  • Huang Minzhi told Lu Cang that someone who should have appeared was missing and connected that absence to his Spiritual Pollution.
  • Huang Minzhi revealed that the Foul Source Nest, a mass of Foul Worms, had sent Lu Cang from Earth to the Secret Sea.
  • Lu Cang realized his contamination had been present from the moment he arrived and that his reincarnation could cleanse contaminated spirituality.
  • Huang Minzhi explained that the Tree of Wisdom’s branches and leaves had gathered inside Lu Cang, giving him immense spiritual potential and shifting the world’s balance toward monsters.
  • Lu Cang recalled seeing the Tree of Wisdom stripped nearly bare in the Time Ruins and asked why he had been chosen.

Ch. 550Starry Nest

Huang Minzhi explained that Earth was part of the Astral Realm, itself a Nest where humans were created as monsters with faint spirituality. He revealed that Lu Cang was an exceptional, spirituality-free vessel chosen to receive and corrupt collected spirituality, and that he and Huang Minzhi were both part of the Starry Nest.

  • Huang Minzhi told Lu Cang that the Astral Realm was Perga’s Divine Kingdom and that Perga had once built an ideal kingdom before creating the Void.
  • Huang Minzhi revealed that the Astral Realm was also a Nest and explained that Earth’s people were monsters who had developed faint spirituality and humanlike thought.
  • Huang Minzhi explained that Lu Cang had no spirituality but could think normally, making him the perfect vessel for transferring and corrupting the collected spirituality.
  • Huang Minzhi told Lu Cang that they had both been special monsters hatched in the Astral Realm’s incubator and were part of the Starry Nest.

Ch. 551The Level 7 Warrior

After learning the truth about his origins, Lu Cang felt empty but decided to continue pursuing the dangers and questions ahead. Huang Minzhi offered to show him something in the Chamber of Answers, and Lu Cang began his Warrior advancement before they left.

  • Lu Cang learned the answers about the Foul Source Nest, the Tree of Wisdom, Perga's conspiracy, and Earth's cultivation, then asked whether he could leave the Chamber of Answers.
  • Huang Minzhi said someone else Lu Cang might want to meet could be in the Chamber and offered to show him something, so Lu Cang agreed to go with him.
  • Lu Cang assembled a Promotion Ritual and began advancing from Level 6 to Level 7 as a Warrior after killing Aertemi.
  • Yang Ming appeared during the advancement and warned Lu Cang that progressing again only eight days after reaching Level 6 was impetuous.
  • Lu Cang told Yang Ming he had completed his path to enlightenment and had no reason to remain at Level 6.

Ch. 552Genius

Lu Cang fought Yang Ming again, using his level 7 warrior class and powerful Dao techniques to overwhelm him. Yang Ming adapted during the battle and countered Lu Cang with a newly formed Way-Manifesting Skill, leaving Lu Cang covered in spreading cracks.

  • Yang Ming challenged Lu Cang again, insisting that his previous defeat would not stop him from fighting.
  • Lu Cang struck Yang Ming with Cang Dao—Dao Three: Cause of Life, then explained that he had leveled his warrior class to 7.
  • Yang Ming attacked with his Emperor's Path technique, but Lu Cang copied and strengthened it, destroying Yang Ming's right arm before striking him repeatedly with his spear.
  • Yang Ming forged a stronger imperial body, but Lu Cang used Cang Dao—Dao Two: Dissolution of All to crack his body apart.
  • Yang Ming formed Emperor's Path—Dao Fifteen: Reverse the Tide and Shatter, spreading the cracks from his own body across Lu Cang.

Ch. 553Emperor Sword

Yang Ming drew the Emperor Sword, a divine artifact he had found as a level 6 Warrior, and unleashed an emperor’s slash against Lu Cang. Lu Cang dodged through frozen time and used Airosa’s Arms Dao to make the sword tremble loose from Yang Ming’s grasp.

  • Yang Ming and Lu Cang traded attacks at immense speed, learning from each other’s Dao as Huang Minzhi sheltered from their aftershocks.
  • Lu Cang mastered Yang Ming’s five Way-Manifesting Skills and Emperor’s Path, while Yang Ming’s progress failed to close the gap between them.
  • Yang Ming drew the Emperor Sword and swept a golden slash at Lu Cang, whose future sight showed the strike would overwhelm his consciousness if it landed.
  • Lu Cang used Cang Dao’s Boundless Traversal to appear behind Yang Ming, then used Arms Dao’s Resonant Weapon to try to wrest the Emperor Sword from his grip.

Ch. 554Unpleasant

Lu Cang took the Emperor Sword from Yang Ming and fought him without using it, defeating him with Emperor's Path—Dao Four: Unstoppable Advance. Lu Cang reached Level 7 as a Warrior, while Yang Ming vowed to reclaim the sword in a future fight.

  • Lu Cang used Airosa's resonance skill to wrest the real Emperor Sword from Yang Ming, whose Level 6 strength was insufficient to control it.
  • Yang Ming criticized Lu Cang for denying him a full-strength fight, but Lu Cang put away the sword and raised his fists instead.
  • Yang Ming refused to ask for the Emperor Sword back and said he would reclaim it by defeating Lu Cang fairly.
  • Lu Cang outran Yang Ming and struck him with a torrent of golden phantom fists, overpowering his counterattack and leaving him defeated.
  • Huang Minzhi stood up as Lu Cang reached Level 7 as a Warrior.

Ch. 555Sword of the Emperor and God-Tier Immunity to All Laws

Lu Cang advanced to level 7 as a Warrior without risking a head-on fight with Yang Ming, then assessed the artifacts and rewards he had gained. He ended with a new God-tier talent, God-tier to All Laws, intended to protect him from attacks using Divine Authority.

  • Lu Cang refused to fight Yang Ming head-on, and Lu Cang advanced to level 7 while preserving his undefeated record.
  • Huang Minzhi checked on Lu Cang after the battle, and Lu Cang confirmed it was over.
  • Lu Cang realized he had the materials and talent needed to forge the Supreme Lucky Scepter, though the process would take about ten days.
  • Lu Cang examined the Emperor Sword’s powers and tested it with a casual swing that sent a massive slash across the distance.
  • Lu Cang gained the God-tier talent God-tier to All Laws to defend against attacks through Divine Authority.

Ch. 556Law Manifested

Lu Cang tested his God-tier Immunity to All Laws and considered combining the physical manifestations of his laws and talents. Huang Minzhi brought him to the Dark Sanctuary, where they encountered Luluwei and Yuna, and Lu Cang reunited with his old friends.

  • Lu Cang manifested the distortions of his talents and realized he might be able to combine them, though he planned to experiment later with Future Simulation.
  • Huang Minzhi told Lu Cang how Yog had implanted his past-life memories and led him through the ruins of Answers.
  • Huang Minzhi revealed that their destination was the Dark Sanctuary, where people were turning into a nest rather than monsters.
  • Luluwei and Yuna arrived, and Yuna excitedly confirmed Lu Cang had returned.
  • Luluwei felt joy and relief at seeing Lu Cang but drew back when she sensed how powerful he had become, until he smiled and told her he had missed her.

Ch. 557The Balance Problem

Lu Cang reunited with Luluwei and learned how she had reached level 8 with the help of a dying 9th-tier archer. After Luluwei attacked Huang Minzhi, Yuna revealed that the answer they were seeking concerned the problem of balance.

  • Lu Cang apologized to Luluwei, drew her close, and shared a curated account of his experiences with her.
  • Luluwei shared her memories and told Lu Cang that a 9th-tier archer had taken her as an apprentice and taught her.
  • Lu Cang learned that the requirements for reaching level 9 shifted according to whether someone in a class had already reached that tier.
  • Huang Minzhi interrupted the reunion, and Luluwei shot at him before Lu Cang caught her arrow and explained that Huang Minzhi was his friend.
  • Yuna said the problem Lu Cang and Luluwei needed to understand was the problem of balance.

Ch. 558Tilt

Lu Cang considered whether becoming a monster could exploit the world’s balance, but Yuna warned that doing so would greatly strengthen monsters and weaken intelligent beings. Huang Minzhi suggested that Lu Cang was already a monster by nature, and Lu Cang recognized that the choice could determine which side balance favored.

  • Lu Cang reasoned that monsters grew stronger through balance and wondered whether Moon Star could benefit by becoming a monster.
  • Yuna explained that Lu Cang joining the monsters would further tilt balance and could help them break it before its effects adjusted again.
  • Huang Minzhi suggested Lu Cang could become part of a nest, prompting Luluwei to draw her bow when he called Lu Cang a monster.
  • Lu Cang confirmed that he had been a monster in his previous life, though he had looked human.
  • Lu Cang suspected Yog had sent him to Moon Star so he could choose which side benefited from balance.

Ch. 559Return

Huang Minzhi and Yuna told Lu Cang that the balance was nearing total destruction and urged him to decide whether to transform, with Yuna hoping he could prevent the foretold catastrophe. Back in the Land of Seeing the Moon, Lu Cang reunited with Luluwei and Yuna and planned to deliver what the Expeditionary Force needed before repairing his understanding of the Source and forging the Supreme Lucky Scepter.

  • Huang Minzhi explained that four of the five pillars of balance had been broken and that Lu Cang's mature transformation was hidden from all but Yog.
  • Yuna warned Lu Cang that the balance would be destroyed in three years, bringing the gods and Moon Stars down, and said she believed he could avert the end.
  • Lu Cang and his companions returned to the Land of Seeing the Moon, where he discussed Phase magic with Luluwei and learned Izpalut had known it for about nine years.
  • Yuna emerged from a rift and recognized the Moon Sea, while she and Luluwei quickly surveyed their surroundings.
  • Lu Cang told Yuna and Luluwei to rest while he went to deliver what the Expeditionary Force needed, then planned to repair his understanding of the Source and forge the Supreme Lucky Scepter.

Ch. 560Challenge the Forbidden Zone

Lu Cang left the Moon Sea and attacked a godlike being in a Forbidden Zone after a future simulation showed it would turn against him. He resisted its Divine Authority and pierced its body with the Emperor Sword, but the being’s contact-based Shared Soul for Life surrounded him.

  • Lu Cang raced across the sea, killed tens of thousands of monsters in the Abyss of Falling, and ended Time Stop to test his ideas about magic.
  • Lu Cang reached a Forbidden Zone in Boundless Mountain and found a fallen god using Divine Authority—Soul Annihilation against him.
  • Lu Cang explained that a Future Simulation had shown the being would become his enemy, so he had come to kill it first.
  • The being tried to seize Lu Cang’s soul, but Lu Cang grabbed the tangible black snake representing its attack.
  • Lu Cang struck the being with the Emperor Sword, triggering its Divine Authority—Shared Soul for Life as its body enveloped him.

Ch. 561Commanding Death

Lu Cang trapped Bote, the Soul Porter, and used Fate magic to command its death. After Bote died, a wraith imbued with divinity, divine power, and Divine Authority emerged from Lu Cang’s shadow.

  • Lu Cang saw a future in which Bote joined five other Forbidden Zone Lords from Boundless Mountain in the Abnormal Nest, where they would oppose him.
  • Bote tried to escape as Lu Cang sealed the area, but Lu Cang stopped every fragment of its soul and took control of its body.
  • Bote begged Lu Cang to spare it and join forces against the threats to come, but Lu Cang refused.
  • Lu Cang used Cang Dao—Third Path: Cause of Life · Final Pronouncement of Death to declare that Bote would die, and its souls burst apart.
  • A wraith carrying divinity, divine power, and Divine Authority emerged from Lu Cang’s shadow.

Ch. 562Scheme?

Lu Cang killed Bote and turned him into a powerful undead, gaining the Divine Authority to sense every soul in the world. He returned to the Moon Sea with six captives and left the Merman Sage to speak with Xisha, but secretly stayed nearby to listen.

  • Lu Cang used Divine-level Undead Rebirth on Bote and gained the Divine Authority to sense every soul in the world.
  • Bote demonstrated his power by collapsing the souls of monsters hundreds of billions of kilometers away.
  • Lu Cang decided to return to the Moon Sea before hunting the four remaining gods and warped back to the Merman Sage's room.
  • Lu Cang delivered six bound people, including Xisha, Xiu Mi, and Airosa, to the Merman Sage and released Xisha and the others from his Seals.
  • The Merman Sage promised Lu Cang a reward, then asked to verify information with Xisha, and Lu Cang vanished while secretly remaining nearby to eavesdrop.

Ch. 563Lair Lord, Dead?

Xisha reported that she had witnessed the Abnormal Nest’s Lair Lord consuming what was likely the Evil Lair’s Lair Lord, who appeared to have died. After the others left, the Merman Sage called on Lu Cang, who had been listening unseen.

  • Xisha woke and reported that the Abnormal Nest’s passage had opened inside the Evil Lair, transforming its monsters and spreading across its sky.
  • Xisha described entering the Abnormal Nest and seeing its Lair Lord consume a being she believed was the Evil Lair’s Lair Lord.
  • Xisha said a powerful perception swept over her group and they reappeared elsewhere, though they had never sent the distress call that brought the Merman Sage to them.
  • Xisha searched for Lu Cang but did not find him, while the Merman Sage listened to her report and let the group go rest.
  • After everyone left, the Merman Sage sighed and told Lu Cang to come out.

Ch. 564The Source Had No Answer

Lu Cang accepted the Merman Sage’s trust and learned of a set of Godly Robes left by Yaluomochi. Back at the Land of Seeing the Moon, he remained unable to find an answer to magic or the Source and considered preparing Mo Cheng to face the truth.

  • The Merman Sage trusted Lu Cang despite Xisha’s suspicions and promised to retrieve the sealed Godly Robes in five days.
  • Lu Cang returned to the Land of Seeing the Moon, where Lotdan was startled by the gathering of Level 8 Class-changers, including Yuna and Luluwei.
  • Lu Cang spent extensive time thinking and using Future Simulations but could not understand the Source or determine how mages could advance without it.
  • Mo Cheng noticed Lu Cang’s worries and offered to help, so Lu Cang considered explaining the Source’s lack of an answer to him gradually.

Ch. 565This Is Your Apprentice?

Lu Cang gave Mo Cheng seven sealed books containing problems about the Source, which would unlock as Mo Cheng advanced in magic. Luluwei visited the Mage Tower and asked about Lu Cang’s apprentice and the Tree of the World Center, but Lu Cang said it was not convenient to go there yet because its Seal was tied to the Original Taboo User who cast it.

  • Lu Cang showed Mo Cheng seven books of blank pages that filled with difficult knowledge, then explained that Mo Cheng would unlock them as he advanced, up to level eight.
  • Mo Cheng asked whether Lu Cang was leaving, and Lu Cang told him to prepare for uncertainty and plan ahead.
  • Luluwei arrived at the Mage Tower, met Mo Cheng, and questioned Lu Cang about taking an apprentice who might surpass him.
  • Luluwei asked when they would visit the Tree of the World Center, and Lu Cang said they could not go right away.
  • Lu Cang recalled that the Tree of the World Center was sealed by Original Forbidden Magic and that breaking the Seal had led Everything Solved to strike at the Tenth Original Taboo User, whose power threatened his life.

Ch. 566The Divine Artifact: Supreme Lucky Scepter

Lu Cang completed the Supreme Lucky Scepter after preparing to confront the Old Gods and collecting the Merman Sage’s promised Godly Robes. He also forged Mo Cheng a battle spear, and the chapter ended with the divine artifact finished.

  • Lu Cang learned that the Forbidden Zones held former gods who had lost their faith and been trapped in declining Divine Kingdoms, and he planned to turn hostile Old Gods into undead after making proper preparations.
  • Lu Cang used spatial switching to appear before the Merman Sage and demand the promised Godly Robes, which the Sage handed over without tricks.
  • Lu Cang’s Blacksmith and Enchanter classes reached Level 5 as he forged the Supreme Lucky Scepter, and he made Mo Cheng a mage’s battle spear.
  • Mo Cheng continued studying magic but had not yet reached Level 3 or discovered his Origin Magic.
  • Twelve days after returning from the Chamber of Answers, Lu Cang finished forging the Supreme Lucky Scepter.
