It's going premium...
At midnight on the first, the book will officially go premium.
The style and pacing were set from the very first chapter.
Perhaps some readers already knew me and are wondering why my style has changed so much compared to before, as if I were a completely different person.
But this is actually the kind of author I am. I like to try out a new idea with every book.
For most of this book, the story is told from Lu Cang's first-person perspective, while also weaving in third-person and first-person narration. I'm not bound by traditional points of view.
Of course, when the story calls for it, I'll occasionally include other characters' perspectives, too.
The only reason I chose this style is simple: it suits this book.
I think this approach is pretty unique. I've hardly ever seen anyone else write this way.

I won't deliberately use stilted, translated-sounding prose or try to imitate Western elements.
Because I don't want any of this to follow a formula or a set of rules.
There are too many rules in web novels. Is the protagonist too saintly? Is he being tormented? Is he being overshadowed? Is the pacing too fast or too slow? I'm tired of writing about all that.
What I want to write is my own thinking, a world of my own, carved out from countless possible paths.
Everything is about what I think suits this world, not some formula or rule that says it has to be
