The Church's people had finally left. They were probably going to deal with the impending end of the Secret Sea.
Lu Cang looked at the person beside him. "Kumiloni, how many people do you think the Church can save?"
Kumiloni replied, "I'm not sure..."
"But the Life Church follows the principles of life. I think they'll do their best to save as many people as they can."
The Life Church had always been devoted to saving lives and healing the injured.
So Lu Cang had a pretty good impression of the Life Church. At least so far, he hadn't found anything especially dark or despicable about them.
They had their share of power struggles, but compared with the other churches, they were much better.
Whoosh—
A ripple in space swept through, and Izpalut appeared beside Lu Cang.
Iz used Space Magic to move.
After reaching level four as a mage, Lu Cang had become able to see spatial elements. At last, he understood how Izpalut moved.
It seemed every level let you see something new.
"Well, look who finally came back."
There was a hint of ease in Izpalut's voice.
"You only left a few messages before you disappeared. Kumiloni was really worried about you."
Lu Cang glanced at Kumiloni.
He hadn't been sure how long he'd be gone, either.
After all, each simulation could bring new discoveries.
It was like starting a game over and exploring new areas again and again. You could stumble across something new and end up spending more time than expected.
It felt like he'd seen the future, but not quite seen all of it.
"Kumiloni, I'm sorry..."
Lu Cang said, "To verify the prophecy properly, I had to visit other places. That way, I could get a clearer view of the course of Fate."
