Lu Cang killed the dungeon's guardian, then immediately turned around and left the dungeon.
If he hadn't killed the guardian, this dungeon probably could have been sacrificed to multiple times, producing more monsters... But unfortunately, this wasn't the kind of dungeon Lu Cang liked.
It was probably a Wild Lair.
A lair filled almost entirely with beast-type monsters, mostly things like lizards, drakes, and giant snakes.
These were the most common and widespread dungeons.
The monsters could be called all sorts of bizarre things, if you wanted to say they had distinctive traits. But if you said they didn't, that was true too—they were all more or less alike, unlike Evil Lairs, Twin Lairs, or insect nests, which all had very distinct characteristics.
Lu Cang thought this lair didn't spawn enough monsters.

It had far more monsters than ordinary lairs.
The Pure Whitening Tree's white light gave a slight tremor...
With a rustle, swathes of insect swarms turned to ash wherever the white light passed.
Lu Cang checked the rankings.
In an instant, his score had gone up by more than 1.8 million.
It looked like he'd killed over twenty thousand of them.
The monsters in the insect nest varied widely in rank. Unlike in ordinary lairs, the sixth-tier monsters were mixed with large numbers of fifth-tier ones.
