"Actually, that was a memory from a long time ago.
By the time I left this record, I had already experienced more than twenty-five years of time loops.
The loop never stopped. It always returned to May 19, 3212, Cang Calendar Year, then reset to an even more distant past.
By now, I should have gone through the twenty-five-year cycle.
Only then would I be sent back another day.
Perhaps this reset would repeat endlessly, until I became a baby again, until the day I was born.
But it was worth mentioning that I was already 172 years old.
If this continued, I would have to go through 5,399,166 years to return to the day I was born.
And by the time I returned to my current age, I had already lived through 110,000 years.
It made me marvel at how countless people in this world sought immortality.
Yet immortality was so dreadfully dull.
If I were even older, could this be another kind of immortality in disguise?
But I digress.
In this endless time loop, I had tried all sorts of things. I had even tried to end this dull, exhausting cycle by dying.
But...
The truth was, it didn't work.
Even after dying, my consciousness merely fell dormant. I could clearly feel that it still existed, then wait for time to reset again in a void where I could do nothing and affect nothing.
I had also tried making different choices in the different timelines of each reset.
But in the end, none of it meant anything.
When the next reset came, everything I had done vanished along with it.
For someone like me, effort was nothing but futile.
And yet, perhaps I was lucky to have received this curse... After all, I had already lived far longer
